We stopped by this holder of the Guinness World Record for largest model train display on a road trip to New England. It did not disappoint, especially for my train-obsessed son. We loved the fine detail, and each gallery had a story to tell. The staff handed our kids a treasure hunt map, which occupied them for at least an hour and a half before we had to get going. There was an outdoor train ride that we couldn't experience due to timing and weather, but it looked very fun as well. I'm sure we'll stop by again in the future. Definitely one for the bucket list for those interested in quirky roadside attractions.

I took my 12 yr old son and spent 3 hours there. We marveled at what they have created! It is truly amazing. That being said the outdoor train was not running yet and there was really not a whole lot to do other than look at the trains. Still worth the trip and price of admission. A must for any model train enthusiast.

I'll start by saying our four and seven-year-old boys absolutely love trains and had a blast here. This is definitely a great place to bring any child who enjoys trains or dolls for that matter as there is a large collection of dolls and figurines as well. The price of admission is almost double what it should be which is disappointing, but given this is realistically a once-and-done type experience we still found value despite the price gouging. The people here definitely care about the facility however it felt like their focus was perhaps on maintaining certain train runs that a visitor would never know the difference about while letting things slip that would make a big difference to a first-time visitor. For example, several of the push buttons for the kids were not working and a lot of the small touches that would be easy to add ( like wooden character or something to look at on the train ride outside) are missing. We were there in March and the Christmas wreaths were still on the front and back of the train. Overall again our children found this place wonderful but even for our boys who love trains it's a very long walk-through and many of the same things over and over again. There is a play area right at the end, really wish it could be closer to the midpoint to give the kids a break. You start and end at the gift shop and there are several items that are priced across all price points depending on what you're looking for, hundreds of dollars for certain train sets and a couple bucks for souvenir trains that your kids can take home.
