Captain Lindstrom is an Alaskan treasure. He’s competed in the Iditarod and have 25 plus years experience as a tour ship captain in Kenai Fjords. Not surprising for the northern Pacific Ocean, we had rain: yet Captain Lindstrom kept ou spirits sunny with his excellent navigation and narration. We saw a pod of humpback whales bubble feeding, saw a juvenile humpback very actively feeding, saw plentiful wild birds and very close views of stellar sea lions. The views of the Northwest Glacier were incredible. The staff was very courteous and lunch was excellent. Our 7 year old was never bored. Very nice bar choices as well to have a beer or mixed drink along the way. Shame on y’all for how good the cookies are as an after the glacier treat. DESPITE UNSEASONABLY COLD WEATHER WE LOVED OUR NORTHWEST GLACIER CRUISE. The time passed very quickly.

The captain was so informative and interesting, he made the trip outstanding. Beautiful sights. Enjoyed the marine life and the captain would move the boat around so everyone could see. The crew were friendly and efficient. This experience is the highlight of our Alaskan trip!

Had a great time on the cruise despite the rainy and foggy weather. We only saw a few glaciers as it was foggy. The northwestern glacier was spectacular! Animals-wise we saw porpoise, a humpback whale (spouts and a tale and a breach!), puffins, seals and a sea lion. Bring Dramamine, or buy it at the shop, if it’s bad weather as my ride was very choppy. Best to avoid the alcohol on board for the same reason. The lunch is a small/medium portion, but you don’t want a larger portion because of the ocean turbulence.
