The queuing system for The Edge visit is chaotic. Even with a reservation for a 17.20 visit we had to go to the back of the line and queue fir 40 mins. Once through, you then queue through a series of crowded, narrow corridors, which are slightly claustrophobic, as there’s no windows, for another 40 mins. In all honesty, we were ready to use the fire exit to get out. If we’d had to wait any longer. Once you finally make your way through this ordeal the views are simply stunning and probably the best you’ll get in New York. You then queue to get down. Our take was, they obviously allow waaaaay too many people to book and can’t control the numbers on the day. It verges in the dangerous

The guide was great but we went to the Edge and they didn't want to accept our admissions tickets so we didn't get to go up at all

You can't come to NYC without passing through here. I recommend it to those who do not suffer from vertigo. The place is very nice elegant warm and refined. There is a bar where you can sit and enjoy breathtaking views. Great wines and great cocktails. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We understand each other with English or Spanish. You are escorted by elevator and climb up to the 101st floor in a few minutes. You are left speechless. You reach a terrace that improves the view even more and on this terrace is a piece of glass flooring. You can walk or sit there it seems to be suspended in the void. I recommend this attraction not at sunset time as it is super crowded. I entered at 8.30 pm and there were very few fabulous people!!!
