NYC Grand Central Terminal Self-Guided Walking Tour

Overview
Welcome to the most famous train station in the world: Grand Central. This walking tour will take you through this entire magnificent terminal, from the awe-inspiring Main Concourse to the often-missed Whispering Gallery and beyond. Hear the story behind the station’s construction, the absurdly wealthy Vanderbilts who funded it, and all the iconic sights which make this terminal so special.

Here's how it works: Within 30 mins, we'll send you two things: a unique password and an app. Download the app onto your phone and enter the password. Then download the tour inside. When you arrive, head over to the first stop. Once there, launch the app and simply follow the instructions from there! Stick to our recommended route for the best experience.

No expiration — The tour comes with lifetime validity!

This tour does not include entrance to attractions along the route. Check pandemic rules and opening hours before your visit.

Really well done (even though we were late for a plane and had to physically leave the site early). It spends a little too much time on the astrological characters on the ceiling. It also does not discuss the legend of the M42 substation in the basement, but I can also understand that since there is no getting down there. Regardless, I enjoyed it immensely.

Eric, thank you so much for your feedback! I'm delighted that my tour of Grand Central Terminal enriched your knowledge and that you enjoyed it. In addition, I have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the United States — hopefully, you'll have the opportunity to try them the next time you visit! Also, as a reminder, the tour you purchased is valid for a lifetime. As a result, you can listen to it at home or during your next visit.

Tour was good at times, except when it became a zodiac tour instead of history tour. Narrator voice was very inviting and demanding.
