We enjoyed Rori, the guide, who was very nice, caring, interesting and in a good spitit. The deserts were great to.

Initially booked this tour for April 2020. They would only give me a credit instead of a refund. Tried twice to reschedule; once they never replied to my request. Finally went on the tour 4/16/22. I had booked a private tour, but arrived to find another pair on our tour (who also had booked a private tour.) Roxi was a very good tour guide: pleasant, knowledgeable, and experienced. Visited 6 bakeries; only had a choice of flavors at 2 of them (Schmackary's and Huascar & Co.) The Sour Cream Apple pie at Little Pie Co. was quite good. The small piece of baklava at Poseidon Bakery was terrible; it had a very odd flavor. The Chocolate Chip challah bread (we were supposed to have chocolate chip sourdough, but they were sold out) was also disappointing: it was dry and tasteless. I chose a bacon chocolate chip cookie at Schmackary's and liked it. The cherry pistachio cupcake I chose at Huascar & Co was also very good. The Earl Gray Cream Puff at Bibble and Sip was fine (and enormous). The tour cost almost $70 plus the "optional" tip, so it cost around $155 for my party of two. Considering that the price of the food if bought on your own is only about $25, I do not feel like we got our money's worth. The history and information provided by the tour guide was interesting, but most of it could be found with a simple Google search. My advice: visit the places on your own. You'll get to choose items that appeal to you, you won't get overstuffed, and you'll save a bunch of money.
