This food tour was absolutely amazing. For one, the places we visited were fantastic and the food is to die for and the wait at each place is kept at a minimum. But most of all the tour guide Dante is a class act and one of the most charismatic, interesting, and knowledgeable tour guides Iā€™ve ever met. I would give this a 6/5 if I could because of him.

Weā€™ve taken food tours around the US and a couple of places overseas and Nice Guys Tours has the best food! Who would think that anyone would be impressed with pastrami, a bagel and cream cheese, or a chocolate doughnut? But the quality of these unique places makes you realize what a difference hand crafting their products makes. For those of you whoā€™ve never had a knish, Yonah Schimmel knishes is your place. Weā€™ve had lots of rugelach, but the rugelach at Russ & Daughters beats them all. The pastrami at Katzā€™s Deli is prepared for almost a month before it hits your plate. It goes on from there: halavah, Vanessaā€™s Chinese dumplings, hand cured pickles, Kossars bagels with unique homemade cream cheese, and the chocolatiest doughnut youā€™ve ever had at Doughnut Planet. Come hungry, leave full and happy, and see a lot of New York.

The tour was fantastic, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Dante was a great a great host and really enjoys his job. Dante was very informative and the tour was good fun. We ate lots, so ensure you arrive very hungry!
