I have been on several food tours in other cities but Dante's was one of the best. Sure, he picked some places with great stories and great food, gave us some interesting history and trivia, and kept us entertained the entire time. But, what made this stand above other tours was Dante, himself. He brings a personality and charm that makes you really appreciate the nuances of the lower east side of NYC's Manhattan with his friendly demeanor not only with his guests but also with his restaurant partners. To top it off, he is great at remembering names! Next time I will definitely book his Greenwich Village tour. Thanks Dante!!!

We had a great time on the Lower East Side food tour. It was both informative and entertaining, I learned interesting facts I did not know before about New Yorkā€™s history and even olive oil! Food was delicious, my favorite was pastrami from Katzā€™s deli and cake doughnuts was a perfect way to end the tour. I even liked the halva. True to the name of his company, Dante really is a nice guy! P.S. Pastrami sandwich would have been even more phenomenal if served with a pickle.

Great afternoon with Dante who is THE quintessential 'nice guy' Very knowledgeable, incredibly pleasant and great tour guide. Approximately 8 stops so a good value. Getting in to Katz without waiting in line was worth the price of admission!
