As we were the only guests we had our own private tour of the Lower East Side with Dante and his friend John. Tried some very different food at some historic eating places. The knish and bagel were particularly good (John I agree that was the best bagel I had). Enjoyed the old candy shop, not so keen on the pickles. The pastrami at Katz Deli was also very good. Dante organised a carry bag towards the end of the tour as we were too full to finish everything! Dante also kindly shared his Greenwich Village eating stops for our visit there the next day. Fun way to experience the history and culture of this area.

Dante did a great job showing us the fantastic eating venues in the Lower East Side. He is a very nice man and knowledgable too. Highly recommend!

We had a delicious time on this tour with Dante. He was super friendly and accommodating, especially with my husband who kept lagging behind. ;) Our favorite stops were Katz's Deli and the rugelach at Russ and Daughters. Highly recommended. Dante does not disappoint!
