Dante runs a GREAT TOUR!! This is my second time taking a tour with him and my wife's third and this time we brought the whole family (and a friend). So happy with this tour. The first one we did was Greenwich Village and this lower East Side tour was great. 8 stops and you'll be so full at the end. A decent amount of walking (which we love), plenty of great info and a full variety of food from the different areas. Dante is nice, funny and accommodating. My wife and I do a lot of food tours as we actively travel the country and Dante's tours are tops!! I can't recommend this tour enough!!

Hey peter! You and Andrea were an absolute delight. Your son, daughter, and daughters friend were also a pleasure to have on the tour. Please tell Andrea I am grateful for her continued patronage and that she is Nice Gal of the month next month! We just need to get a picture together :) Dante Mercadante Chief Eating Officer Nice Guy Tours

Dante runs this food tour himself and has smartly designed it to touch on a good range of different sweet and savoury foods that included some great Chinese dumplings, propper pickles and authentic Pastrami and bread.

Hey James! Thanks for the review. Iā€™m glad you enjoyed the tour. ā€œProper picklesā€ - Iā€™ve never heard them described that way, I love it! Hope to see you on another tour real soon. Dante Mercadante Chief Eating Officer Nice Guy Tours

What an amazing way to spend a few hours discovering The Lower East Side, NYC. Dante was fantastic, a really warm and fun person, with a wonderful passion for the area and history of the locations we toured. Dante showed us some of the oldest bakeries and eateries, and we got to try all sorts of foods, including knishes, pickles, and the amazing pastrami at Katz to name but three. Dante, you brought this alive for us... Thank you. We will be booking on the Greenwich tour next time...
