This was a wonderful--and delicious--way to spend a few hours in NYC! Dante, our guide, is a native who really knows the Lower East Side, both the cuisine and the history. So, the tour is informative, fun, and filling. We visited 7 spots, pre-arranged by Dante, and sampled knishes, pastrami, bagels, etc. Some of the places are iconic New York spots, like Katz. Others were new to us, but all were delicious and fun. Our guide shared the history of the foods, and his easy-going manner had everyone on the tour (capped at 12 people) chatting and visiting as we walked and ate. I am looking forward to trying his other tour next time I visit NYC!

We choose to do this tour with Dante, based on a recommendation from Amy Hannon of EunaMaeā€™s on IG. So glad we followed her advice! Dante was awesome! Funny, knowledge about the food and the area and just aā€¦.ā€nice guy.ā€ We would love to do another tour with his company someday!
