This is our 6th time doing a food tour in New York...our first using Dante. We did the lower east side tour and can't wait to to back and do his Greenwich village tour. When we started this tour we looked at our son and said "this is the way a tour is supposed to be." Within 5 min Dante knew the names of everyone on the tour. He was friendly, funny and a great host. We had dumplings, donuts, bagels (the best ever), knishes, pastrami sandwiches at the famous Katzi's deli and went into a really cool candy store. I bought a babka bread at one of stops to bring home and it was amazing. Don't eat breakfast before you go and if you eat dinner make it late. We were very full at the end. He does all the tours himself. He was truly a nice guy. Hope to see him again soon!!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Dante is charming, knowledgeable and funny. The stops were great and the food delicious! We went back and bought more. Totally recommend Dante and his tours!!!!

Well, it’s true— this tour is run by a really NICE guy! Not only will Dante guide you to several of Manhattan’s most delicious bites, he will teach you, chat with you, and help you out in any way possible. Some tour guides can be phony or corny, but Dante is a guy you’d love to share a drink—- or a pastrami sandwich— with. Left smiling with a full belly.
