We had the best time with Dante. He is very knowledgeable and was extremely friendly and approachable for asking questions. A great variety of food and interesting spots along the route. Dante really went out of his way to make sure that this would be one of our highlights visiting N.Y. Carol H.

Ironically Dante the tour guide really IS a nice guy! Iā€™d taken his Greenwich Village tour awhile back, so I thought Iā€™d try this tour as well. We couldnā€™t have asked for more perfect weather on this day which was the icing on the Lower East Side food tour cake! With a minimum of 7 stops on the tour, Dante gave a bit of history of each stop in addition to history on the neighborhood itself. We never felt rushed and were given the opportunity to purchase something if we wanted. I was born and raised in New York and didnā€™t know any of the rich history that Dante shared. And the food! Oh the food. Knishes, bagels, bialys, pastrami from the famous Katzā€™s deli (I WILL have what sheā€™s having!), dumplings, rugelach, etc...Essex Market and more. This is a not to be missed food tour whether youā€™re local or not. Thereā€™s a reason why Nice Guy Tours is rated #1! Go! You wonā€™t be disappointed!

Dante the guide was awesome. A small group of no more than 12, -- as he magically takes us on a gourmet taste sensation around the less busy area of New York, -- tasting Barbara Streisand's most favourite food, to where Sally Met Harry, and had "I want what she is having" -- a most enjoyable 3 hours, which went very quickly, and not too strenuous on the feet. Thoroughly recommend Nice Guy Food Tour. I was pleased that it had taken me to a part of New York I would not have visited otherwise.
