Thought it would be cool to go to the One World Observatory at night. Major regrets. The observation deck and gift shop lights are so bright can’t see anything out the window due to the glare

The elevator ride up is the best part, as it shows a projected image of the city skyline as it has changed over the past hundred years. But the ride is too fast.

We pride ourselves on the speed of our SkyPod elevators which are the fastest in the Western Hemisphere, moving at 23 miles per hour! All the while they cover 500 years of NYC history in 47 seconds.
