Do NOT purchase this if it is a cloudy day with limited visibility. You will see NOTHING!!! We paid $182 and that is with one ticket being a military discount. We had no idea the only thing to do is to look out the window and see the views. To me it is not worth the money, you can stand on a rooftop in New York and do the same thing for free. There are no artifacts or history about the falling towers, but there is a person there letting you know about the area and the different things New York has to offer and the actual history of New York. There is a gift shop and you will receive a $15 credit for each ticket you purchase that’s one of the upgraded priority tickets. To me it is worth it because the ticket is about $10 more and you get a $15 credit. There is a restaurant on top that you can eat at that is very expensive, but I am sure it is an experience to eat and see the views of New York. The first day we went, there was zero visibility and it was really a waste of our time. We went again the next day, because they gave us complementary passes to come back, which was very nice of them to do because there are zero refunds. We did get some great pictures, but if I would’ve realized the only thing to do was see the view of NY, I would’ve never paid the cash. Just want to make sure you are informed before you make that decision. Definitely do the 9/11 Museum next door, it is worth every penny and you can spend hours there. At this observatory we were there less than 30 minutes. It is a selfie person’s dream, but to me your money would be better spent elsewhere. If the tickets were cheaper my review would’ve gotten more stars. This attraction is way overpriced.
