We really enjoyed our visit. It was so beautiful to see all of New York from the top of the world. Skipping the line is great. The IPads were pretty useless unless you just like gadgets, you will want earbuds with you for the iPads. Go early, it’s less crowded and the light is so gorgeous.

After almost a week in NYC sat staring on One World from my hotel window - felt i ought to go and visit. I paid for the skip the queue ticket. For about an extra $10 it seemed a bargain and - TBH - the whole ticket seemed jolly reasonable by New York standards. Around $60 (although seen sites advertising cheaper). I would not bother to book terribly in advance as the weather is such a factor. I was in town for a week - could see the next day was forecast clear and sunny and - bof - booked the ticket on line no issue. But the weather changes so quickly in NY. You can get the ticket/bar code on your mobile so all nice and easy. With the skip the queue ticket it was straight thru (after the scanners) and up in lift. The video in the lift going up is quite clever. Then when got to top then had the damn annoying video/'theatre experience'. I mean i came for the view not for some thing that tries to make it seem more special. Anyway that made me cross. With certain tickets you get free use of an iPad that tells you what-is-what on the horizon. This was included in my ticket (so i took it) but - boy - it's heavy and not much use so i abandoned it half way round. OK. Whinging out the way. The views were simply stunning. No other way to describe it. You can easily walk round and get great views. Occasionally you have to wait for people who think they are some trending-star as they prepare for that selfie that will hit Farcebook/Instagram et al. Gee! Look out the window and enjoy! You really do get such an amazing view and can see beyond Jersey City etc. Really gives a perspective you cannot get at ground level. Very very good. Clearly, would highly recommend. Well organised and polite staff.

My husband and I had only a chance to visit in the evening. The view was spectacular at night! We dined in the restaurant and that was as wonderful as it gets. Both the food and service were excellent. A must do day or night.
