This was my 2nd visit to this incredible place...The first time our adventure included two Moms & their two Daughters. It was cloudy and a bit rainy that day! There was no line because of the weather...but we went anyway! I am so glad we did! When we ascended rapidly to the Observatory level we enjoyed the place to ourselves and the clouds disappeared. You could look straight diown to the ground and what a sight it was! We enjoyed a unique clear view with a layer a clouds below. We ate an early dinner up there without crowds. This last time my husband and I invited two friends. It was their first visit to NYC. Everyone agreed the WTC & 9/11 was the highlight of our NY stay. Amazing place ...not to be missed!

Yes its a tourist thing ! But it is awesome ! Better than top of the rock ! The 360 view is awesome, the observatory is great.

bought the observatory tickets and came early to the entrance and was told to go down to the customer service and change the time to earlier time. Went downstairs and not found any one for assistance because the customer service is close to the elevators. Approached the representative and told her I have the email of the ticket bought in my iphone. Unfortunately there is no wifi in that space and so she asked me to go out to the lobby and try the wifi. It did not work and then I pleaded with her to check my reservation with the last name. RELUCTANTLY she looked up my name and printed out the tickets. She could have done that in the first place without sending me up and down to get the wifi. Not very friendly. It is called CUSTOMER SAERVICE and should be with a smile. But I never got a smile but a stern view. Another poor design of the multi billion dollar place. The Rest Rooms are half a mile away near the path station. My wife has arthritis and cannot walk long distances and I saw lot of older people limping to the Rest Rooms. There should have been lot of Rest Rooms all over the place when you collect so much money for visiting. I hope you install more Rest Rooms near the Observatory and help the Senior Citizens.
