What To Expect
1
Diamond Head State Monument
This iconic Waikiki landmark was formed 300,000 years ago when the volcano erupted. As these materials settled, they cemented together into a rock called tuff, creating the crater. Your guide will explain the geologic and military history of the world famous Diamond Head Crater while you enjoy the view of surfers in the waves. Learn about some of the history of these beautiful homes surrounding this impressive landmark. (No strenuous summit hike.)
2
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
This iconic bay is a highlight for many in Hawaii. Your guide will talk about the geologic formation of the bay, the coral reef and the environmental impact. Your group will have an opportunity to take pictures of the bay.
3
Halona Blowhole
At the Halona Blowhole (meaning peering place or place to lookout), water can shoot up to 30 feet into the air. The reason the water shoots into the air here is due to small caves along the coast with an opening at the top. During the winter we may view whales along the coast. On a clear day we can see Lanai, Maui and Kahoolawe.
4
Waimanalo
Get a glimpse of Barack Obama's new oceanfront mansion along the stunning Waimanalo Beach.
5
Byodo-In Temple
Visit the famous Byodo-In Temple made famous by movies and TV shows. This iconic location is a perfect photo backdrop.
6
Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet)
Here at the Macadamia nut farm, guests will be able to crack open a Macadamia nut to sample the raw nut. There are also Macadamia nut samples, a gift shop, and Kona coffee samples.
7
Kualoa Regional Park
At Kualoa Beach “Secret Beach”, your guide will show you this beautiful protected beach for some great pictures of Chinaman’s Hat (Mokoli'i) and Kualoa Ranch. Walk along the beach for a picture, feel the warm sand between your toes and relax.

Not sure how to start as every step of the way from booking to return was flawless. After days of research I decided on this tour and so glad I did. Booking the tour was a breeze. On the day of pick up Bryce was right on time for collection. Bus was clean and very comfortable with a maximum capacity of 11. Large windows for viewing with no obstructions. And then we have our guide Bryce.. Friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about the island, it's' natural history and the Hawiian cultural history. Bryces passion for the environment was evident in his respect shown at each stop by allowing us to enjoy the sites whilst he picked up rubbish. We travelled with my 87year old mother and Bryce made sure she was taken care of at every stop. He was like this with all of the group. I think my mum is planning an adoption! If you are thinking of an island tour Hawaii Outdoor Guides is a must.

I only had 3 days in Oahu(my first visit) and wanted to see the island, I also did not want to sit in a bus with many other tourists. After doing a little research I found outdoor guides I hit the jackpot. Very simple booking , Brice our awesome driver, guide, and story teller, we had a total of 8 people and the van was spacious and clean. I could go on and on but one of the highlights of our tour was when Brice spotted a Monk Seal on the beach and pulled over. Great lunch suggestions. Thank you Brice for a great day. Superb outfit.

After much research I picked this tour based on other reviews and it was the right choice. When I contacted them, I rec'd a quick and accurate response. Pick up was a block from my hotel and on time. The tour van was clean, comfortable and all windows so we could take in all the beautiful scenery. Bryce was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable and respectful about the Islands, their history, culture and wildlife. He was thoughtful and considerate of everyone's needs and interests and encouraged us to ask questions. Instead of a rigid agenda to the minute, Bryce adjusted his schedule as things occurred throughout the day. I went solo on this tour but Bryce made us into a family for the day. We saw whales, a green turtle, beautiful beaches and mountains, had our lunch pre ordered so there was no down time on a long line and plenty of time off the bus to explore areas. His tour was definitely a highlight of my trip and I strongly recommend it!!
