Oahu Shark Dive (no cage)

Overview

For the thrill-seekers! We will travel three miles off of the North Shore of Oahu to find Hawaiiʼs famous Manō (shark). Surrounded by clear blue abyss, guests will have the opportunity to swim alongside this pelagic predator, with the guidance of a trained safety diver. The crew will provide guests with information on shark biology and behavior, as well as safety guidelines for snorkeling and free diving. The most common resident shark species include Galapagos, Sandbar, and Tiger sharks. However, being in a pelagic (deep-water) zone allows the possibility.

My friend and I did the shark give with go adventure and it did not disappoint! The crew was so fun and helpful while I was nervous and it made me feel a lot safer! The divers were very attentive and made sure to point out everything that was going on so we didn’t miss anything! We saw two sharks over 10 feet and it was such an amazing experience. I am so glad we booked with go adventure because the last dive we did was not nearly as good as with go adventure! Thank you to the captain and crew!!

Sharks were a bit shy this time but this amazing group of people let us stay in the water until we finally came face to face with one of the beautiful creatures. And the pictures were amazing.

It was so special getting to experience Galapagos AND a Tiger Shark (named Nikki) during our recent tour with Go Adventure Hawaii. I have had the pleasure of getting to go on other shark tours and while they were great, this was hands down the best one I have experience for so many reasons. No only is the captain and crew highly knowledgeable but they make you feel safe and ensure each step of the way is fun and memorable. While actually being in the water with the sharks (cageless for the win!) was by far the most amazing part, I really loved the educational and engaging presentation the crew gave about Shark conservation efforts and what we can do to help make sure these magical creatures continue to be taken care of so we can “co-habitat” with them for year to come. The passion the entire crew has for shark and ocean conservation is inspiring and I am so glad I decided to book with Go Adventure Hawaii. I can’t wait to do it again next time I’m on Oahu!!
