My husband and I originally signed up for this because it’s a bucket list thing for him. For me I was super nervous and scared. The crew was very informative and made sure we understood everything we needed to do. We got to see some humpback whales! Then we got to the dive site. It did get a decent amount “wavey” so I definitely recommend some sea sickness medicine, eat a small snack and keep your eyes on the horizon. Time for sharks! I kept telling myself I was getting in a pool and was not looking into the water prior. Got in before my husband to the cage and before I knew it I forced myself to look down. There were sharks all around but it was like seeing them on tv. They got close to the cage but didn’t attack it or anything. I highly suggest this tour. It was truly the experience of a lifetime and I’d be willing to go out again and I am definitely not a water baby! All our pictures are on our go pro that we have yet to see but we also have pictures from the captains go pro so we could enjoy the time out as well.

If you are on Oahu and planning a fun day trip, going to the North Shore is an obvious choice. Looking for things to do at the North Shore is pretty easy and the North Shore Shark Adventures should be #1 on the list. A couple daring friends and I on a high school trip signed up for this and we were not disappointed. It is a quick ride out to the cage. As we were approaching we could see the sharks swimming around and we became eager to get in. The crew was very helpful in getting us into the cage safely. Getting a good view of the sharks is easy; there were at least 20 swarming the cage. It was my first time seeing a shark and getting up close and personal is a really cool experience. If you are concerned about safety, don’t be. The cage is very secure and the crew is very good about helping you in and out. Adventurous people, this is the activity for you.

This was such an amazing experience. Thanks to NSSA. I booked my ticket thru the phone and the staff was super polite and also granted me student discount upon inquiry. The whole process was easy and they notified us to be 30-45 min earlier (if driving on yourself). This is good because some activity centers do not update on how early you need to be. I had fear of sharks but the crew on the boat did an amazing job to help us get in the tank and that's where I found the beauty of seeing these majestic creatures. I know "Diving with Sharks" can sound intimidating but trust me this is amazing and would highly recommend people to try this out. you also have the choice to not go in the tank and stay on boat which is still better becz you can see the sharks from boat. The price is definitely worth it.
