We aren't the best of swimmers so we could def not do the swimming with sharks >.< but this experience was just as amazing. We didn't see one shark but 5! all swimming around the cage and the boat, they came up close to the surface where we could see from the boats view. I bought the Gopro video they offered for $75 i would recommend buying a cheap gopro one of the guys in our group had one strapped to his writst that he said he got for $40 buck off of Amazon and the images were great. But! even the video i got was good they good clips of us before going in and then in the water and close shots of the sharks swimming around. Worth it!

My kids and I really enjoyed our shark dive with Capt. Dave & Reece! They were so patient with my little one and the last minute jitter tears. You don’t need to know how to swim and there is no scuba or “diving” involved. Kids and I held on to the cage most of the time. It was so relaxing! Sharks were checking us out, slowly and methodically! Do the early time @ 7AM! The water is clear, calm & much easier on the stomach! Plan for an 1.5 hr drive from Honolulu (especially if you need to stop for coffee) It really felt like we were in a blue planet of sharks, turtles and flying fish, some whales & dolphins in the distance! The wind smacking me in the face after the dive made me feel so alive! The kids 17/9/8 yrs. couldn’t stop talking about it for a couple of days! Glad that I could make a memory for us all to remember! Video service was well worth the cost, we forgot our GoPro in the car but glad we had the last minute option while on the boat!
