What To Expect

Diamond Head State Monument
Begin the day outside of the Diamond Head Crater at the Amelia Earhart Lookout. Guests who want to hike to the top must make reservations independently and start the tour afterward.

Kahala
Drive through this upscale neighborhood and hear stories about itʻs past. There are public beach access trails along the route.

Hawaii Kai Towne Center
Guests have the opportunity to shop, get supplies, sample local food, get drinks, and use the restroom.

Koko Crater Railway Trail
Guests can stop and hike the Koko Crater trail if they wish. Simple stop in Hawaii Kai and GPS directions to the parking lot. Donʻt worry, we wonʻt make you hike it.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
Guests with reservations made independently and in advance can add a snorkel stop in Hanauma Bay. Otherwise, passengers can view it from your vehicle as you continue to Halona Blow Hole.

Lanai lookout
See the Lanai Lookout as you drive along the Kaiwi Coastline. If there is parking available, feel free to stop for photos, just donʻt go over the barriers.

Eternity Beach
See Eternity Beach from the parking lot at the Halona Blow Hole. This area has been featured in movies and television shows.

Halona Blowhole
See the Halona Blow Hole on the South Eastern tip of Oahu. The spray can sometimes reach 30 feet but is entirely dependent on waves.

Sandy Beach Park
Otherwise known as "Break Neck Beach," if you decide to stop here, DO NOT get in the water.

Koko Crater Botanical Garden
Guests have the option to GPS directions to visit the Koko Crater dryland botanical gardens from Sandy Beach and resume the tour afterward.

Makapuu Lighthouse Trail
Guests can add a hike up the Makapuu Lighthouse Trial if they want. The trail is moderate and has a paved path all the way to the top.

Makapuu Lighthouse
Stop at the Makapuaa Lookout after the Halona Blow Hole for an easily accessible view of Windward Oahu.

Sea Life Park Hawaii
Guests can visit the Aquarium at Sea Life Park and swim with the dolphins or any other activity they have. Admission is not included, and advanced reservations are recommended, but they often have walk-up tickets available.

Bellows Field Beach Park
If you are traveling during the weekends or on a public holiday we recommend stopping to swim at Bellows Beach Park to help alleviate the traffic in the Kailua and Lanikai neighborhoods.

Lanikai Pillboxes
You have the option to add a hike up to the Lanikai Pillboxes and weʻll even share some parking tips.

Drive through the world-famous neighborhood often refered to as Lanikai and hear stories about itʻs real name.

Lanikai Beach
You can stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and weʻll even share parking tips for your visit.

Kailua Beach Park
You can also stop and see another world's best beach in Kailua, next to Lanikai. Parking can be tricky and we recommend visiting both beaches on weekdays only.

Kailua
You can stop in Kailua Town for shopping, shave ice, local food, bike, kayak rentals, Manoa Chocolate and much more.

Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens
The finale of the tour is at the Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens. You really need to be there by 3 pm to enjoy a visit. They will lock the gates, no matter which side you are on.
