On this submarine scooter tour, cruise along Maunalua Bay past Diamond Head Crater and then dive under the surface while riding your own self-propelled, electric underwater scooter. Swim with colorful fish, green sea turtles and other marine life in a totally unique and fun way! Your guide will lead the way, and no experience is necessary.

Maximum weight is 350 lbs. Maximum height is 6'8". Waiver is required prior to adventure and participant must have no previous medical conditions; minors must have waiver signed by parent or legal guardian.
CHECK-IN TIME IS 30 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE. The boat leaves PROMPTLY at departure time.

My two teens went mid August & parents just snorkeled since we already scuba dive. my daughter chose this tour for a bday gift. The staff are all great starting with the person who booked it. Michelle was great at answering questions and even suggested to take Motion sickness medicine before coming since there were large swells. The Captain was great and Boone the photographer did a great job. Buy his photos and videos well worth it. Some people complained about having to wait however I like that there was a longer time on the water so you can snorkel take a break and go back out. My children went on the second round so they got to see how it worked one stayed on the boat waiting for their turn and one was in the water snorkeling first so it all worked out. I would suggest a short video be shown on how to get in and out of the scooters would be helpful because it’s much easier than it seems when explained. Since there’s no screen on the boat perhaps a video can be emailed or text to the participants ahead of time. Thank you

This was a great experience. For those of us that aren't scuba certified and are terrible at snorkeling it was a really unique way to get up close and personal with the beautiful marine life in Oahu. Personally, I did experience some seasickness right at the end of the ride (not sure why, but there were a few others that had a similar reaction), but still loved it. You get to go under on the scooter then while others are taking their turn there are some great opportunities to swim, snorkel, or just hang out on the boat. The staff was super friendly and we even got some great recommendations from the captain. The launch site was a little tricky to find, but not bad. I would recommend packing a little picnic as well. The ship provides water and chips, but if you want more you have to bring your own so plan ahead. So over all, take your dramamine ahead of time and go out and enjoy!

This was really amazing and I definitely recommend. We are a middle age couple with limited ocean skills and the crew were super patient and helpful to get us going. Amazing sea life up close that you can feed. So fun. Nice Photo ops taken. There was a mix-up when the wrongs photos were sent to me and the office staff really bent over backwards to fix the problem quickly. Definitely one of the best excursions we did.
