"Let us show you Savannah!"
Moderate Walking & Climbing Stairs Required
10:45 am - 3:30 pm (time includes travel, lunch, and drop-off)
In this excursion, you will explore two of Savannah's hidden gems not far from the downtown area. First, we will hike through Oatland Wildlife Center. You can stay with the group or go off on your own.
Oatland Island Wildlife Center sits on over 100 acres of maritime forest just outside Savannah, Georgia, and is home to more than 95 animals from 39 different species (e.g., bison, eagles, alligator, wolves). You will see many different types of animals along with beautiful maritime views while hiking along the picturesque trails.
Next, you will have lunch on Whitemarsh Island. There you may choose to dine at Papa's Barbecue & Seafood or Jalapeno's Mexican Restaurant, or one of the other nearby eateries.
The second part of your excursion will take place at Old Fort Jackson. Built-in 1808, Old Fort Jackson is Georgia's oldest standing brick fort.
