I've seen murals before but never understood the meaning, impact, origin, or culture behind them. There is an entire universe here, encapsulated, that the majority of observers never see. Learning about the history of how murals came to be - and how they differ from graffiti - was quite interesting. As a former art student, I found it particularly inspiring. Our guide, Brian, was incredibly patient and understanding, as my body "wore out" before the tour was complete. His gentle encouragement lead us to our final - and most admired - piece: Robin Williams.

This was a fantastic experience. Took my entire family because of my sons love of graffiti and street art, couldn't be happier with the experience. All of it was amazing, the talent that these artist have is immense. The stories they tell and visual beauty is something everyone should take time to learn and appreciate. Not only did we see some amazing pieces, but we learned so much about the history and community in Chicago. I highly recommend this tour and can't preach enough about the experience we all had. Brian was a fantastic tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and made the experience what it was.
