We did the tour in June with Michael. It was great - plenty of information about places you would never notice on your own. We went inside some great buildings and heard lots of interesting stories. Michael was very well informed and could answer all our questions. Very good value - reasonable cost.

I have joined both the LA Beginning and Old & New Downtown LA tour on the same day,, there was around 20 mins gap in between, with the Grand Central Market nearby that can grab a quick lunch easily. Phil has been a great tour guide, very friendly and approachable, tried to engage all participants as much as he can. Without a guide I wouldn't find the downtown being so interesting, LA is huge and definitely worth a tour to visit with a better purpose, and to know about the history and some of the historic buildings

I had the pleasure of being the only person on this tour and therefore got the personal approach! Julia had lots of knowledge that she shared in an informative way. The walking was not onerous and there was plenty of interesting historical buildings to enjoy on the way round.
