Great fun. The exhibit the basement was interesting. And left me craving for more. We walked easily through this exhibit and store. The college friend was not allowed to ascend the stairs in the lighthouse because of her flip-flops. And waited patiently at the bottom for us the guide that took us up the stairs, was very professional, direct succinct, and a little too wordy, but he played the part well. And there was no crossing any lines with him. He had great information for us and then let us up to the tower. A great keeper he is. And a lovely view from the top it was.

Didn't get to go inside, but a neat place to walk around and see the bridge. There are some other buildings there as well to read about.

Thank you for the wonderful review! The tour of the tower is certainly memorable, and we love sounding the fog whistle to really get the feel of what it was like at the Straits in 1910. We hope you are able to visit us again soon!
