Timothy was a charming tour guide for our food adventure through Old Port. He gave us great background information on these restaurants and Portland. He had numerous entertaining stories of the history of Portland and his own adventures in the area. The clam chowder at Gilbert's Chowder House was good, but their seafood chowder was amazing (with chunky bites of lobster and shrimp)! That was the highlight of the food on the tour by far. The beer at Andy's was good, the blueberry soda was better, but the fish tacos were just okay. Although the fish was fresh, the dressing was too bland. The lobster rolls at Gritty McDuff Brew Pub were okay, but far from being the best I have tasted. The other stops were fine, but did not stand out.

e had a great time on our Maine Foodie Tour! Andrew was a terrific guide--fun, funny, informative and helpful (he even went back and found the sweater I had dropped somewhere along the tour route!). The food was excellent, all-around, and we came away with a greater understanding of Maine and specifically Portland, as well as a deepened appreciation for all things blueberry! We highly recommend this company for your next trip to Portland.
