We enjoyed our guide Jason G. He was through with his history and entertaining. He kept everyone engaged including our teenagers. The places we stopped were nice. The food was average. I have done other food tours and the food was better. It was so much bread and kettle chips to fill you up instead of unique Portland food. I would have rather had unique food instead of fillers. The seafood chowder was my favorite. I could skip the grilled cheese. For the price, we should have received a full glass of beer.

This was so much fun! Jason G. was entertaining AND informative — a great story teller! Loved the seafood chowder and lobster rolls. The chocolates were a perfect ending to a wonderful day. Can't wait to go back to Portland and explore all the places we passed by on our walk.

We’ve been on many food tours in the U.S. and Europe, and Jason G made this one of the best. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining and did a great job keeping things moving along, while allowing plenty of time to enjoy our food and drinks. We had a great time with him, learned a lot about Portland, and had great food (best seafood chowder EVER at Gilbert’s!). Thanks for a really great time.
