My wife and I were spending a week just "following our noses" on the Southern coast of Maine and wanted to check out Portland, Maine, but neither of us had been to Portland before. We booked the port foodie walking tour and had a WONDERFUL TIME! You start out meeting the tour at a deli/bakery and everyone gets a Whoopie pie. From there we went all up and down the harbor and I couldn't believe how many little shops and restaurants were tucked into the assorted piers. We stopped and sampled some wonderful seafood chowder at one location and tried craft beers and lobster rolls at another restaurant. We then moved on to another pub and tried the fish tacos. The tour ended with us visiting a chocolate shop and sampled some wonderful truffles. The tour guide Ross did a great job and shared a lot of the history of Portland as well. If you are looking for something to do and want to get a real feel for the area, I highly recommend the Maine Foodie tours!

Loved the chowder, the lobster roll, beer tasting, the blueberry muffin and the guide, Randy! Randy was so sweet to our daughter and his gift for providing an entertaining and fun tour was greatly appreciated. We have some of our best memories of Portland from this tour of the old port and yummy local delicacies! Highly recommended.

Randy has been with us as a guide almost since day one, 10+ years and counting, and he has quite the flare for entertainment (as the founder of a group called the "hysterical society"). Very happy to hear you had a great time on tour and we appreciate your review.

Timothy was our tour guide. He was very versed in all Portland had to offer. The stops for food were equally enjoyable. We had enough food to fill you. Pretty big portions for a sample. Highly recommend.
