This was such a great Tour! My incredible, well informed, very fun and knowledgeable guide Jā€MEā€ (Her cute play on Maine) was AWESOME! The food was outstanding and worth the tour alone. I learned SO much about Portland and tasted some things I didnā€™t even know existed like...Blueberry Beer! Or Clam Chowder with maple bacon and brown sugar!....and potato DOUGHNUTS. I will definitely be bringing my husband on this tour when we return.

Hi Lucinda, We find a way to put blueberries and potatoes in just about everything...and lobster, ha! David's Restaurant kills it with their own take on a New England clam chowder and Gritty's blueberry beer is light and refresing. We appreciate your Must Do recommendation and are pleased to hear you had a great time with Jaime. Thanks for joining us on the Old Port Culinary Walking Tour and we look forward to hosting you AND your husband on your next visit!

My wife and I highly enjoyed our Old Port walking tour during our first visit to Portland this past weekend! Betty, our guide, was awesome and did a fantastic job telling us interesting stories and history of Portland without being over the top in any way whatsoever. She was amazing. You get more than enough food on the tour and it's definitely to be considered a full meal. We had our choice of a whole Holy Donut each, a great cup of seafood chowder, scones with fresh local blueberry jam, a Japanese crab roll, a lobster roll, locally brewed craft beer, and topped things off with locally made chocolates. It was a wonderful experience!

Hey Aaron! Happy to hear we were part of your first Portland experience and that you had a five star time with Betty. She's one of our uber natives which gives her a unique perspective on how the town has changed from many aspects most importantly a culinary one =) Wishing you many more fun and foodie tours on your future trips. Thanks for sharing a review of your experience!

Timothy was our guide and did an excellent job of making the experience fun and informative. Got to see parts of Portland we would have never got to see due to how much time we had in Portland. Food and beers were great would definitely recommend both the tour and Tim.

Appreciate your recommendation and we're pleased to hear you had a great time with Timothy. He's not just a native Mainer, but a Portlander, so he's got a unique perspective to share on how things have grown and been shaped by the culinary culture. Thank you for sharing a review!
