We had 15 people on our tour. Our tour guide Edgar was fabulous! The tour left from the Navy Memorial on time at 10:00. Edgar explained what the day would consist of and told us about what we passed as we drove to Alexandria and then onto Mount Vernon. He was very informative and funny. Being able to go to Christ Church was beautiful and we spent a little time there and were able to sit in George Washington’s family pew and take some pictures before going to Mount Vernon. We had ample time to explore around at Mount Vernon and have lunch at the food court after going into the Mansion at our assigned time. The museum & educational exhibits were interesting and fun for the kids. I would recommend this tour and tour company. Highly recommend Edgar as the guide.
