The tour was a good way to get to Mount Vernon from D.C. We spent 3 hours there (sufficient for a day with low crowds) and had a quick stop at Christ Church in Alexandria after a short drive around the charming city. The reason for the average rating was due to an average guide and the bus being run down - seats worn out, suspension system needing serious maintenance and poor microphone system.
