On this guided, narrated walking tour, experience and learn about Old Town Alexandria’s significance throughout history. During the tour, stop to sample specially made dishes at unique, family owned restaurants. This was a terrific history and food tour of Old Alexandria, VA! We sampled many delicious and diverse dishes from a handful of local eateries while learning about significant events and interesting stories from this town's rich history. Special touches from our restaurant hosts included wine and the option to sample some unique cocktails. Terry was a warm and engaging host—knowledgeable and considerate from start to finish. Everyone on the tour clearly enjoyed the experience—it was great fun to eat and learn. (With no room left in our tummies for dinner :-). Thank you DC Metro Food Tours - and Terry!

Outstanding food tour of Old Town Alexandria! We were able to explore Old Town and taste food from several area restaurants. Our tour guide Terry provided great information regarding the history of Alexandria along with specifics about each of the food venues and historical sites that we visited. Pace of the tour was perfect. Highly recommend taking this tour if you're visiting Alexandria!

We loved the day, it was beautiful outside. The tour guide was so knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects having to do with Alexandria. The walking was in short spurts and just enough to make you feel you had room for a little more food. Overall a great experience.
