We just took this tour. Our tour guide was informative and funny. However the food choices and options was less than stellar. The first stop was Italian. This one was great. Spinach ravioli. However from there it went down hill. The next stop was crab bisque. There was so much salt in it it was in edible. Half the table didn’t eat it. The third stop offered a couple plates of dips and empanadas for a group of 12. The final stop was a nice tasting cupcake. The choices of food really were not representative of the great food this town has to offer. Was not a good return on investment. We have been on numerous good tours. So we knew about what to expect. Skip the food tour and take a tour of the town followed by a great lunch. Save your money

Wayne was a wonderful tour guide. We learned so much about Alexandria's history and all four food stops were outstanding! He took great care to make sure everyone's unique needs were taken care of, including a food allergy, timing for subsequent appointments, and slowing things down a bit for my mother, who doesn't move as fast as she used to. I highly recommend this tour and plan to take some of the other tours that are offered.

Wayne rocks! We had a great food tour. The food was plentiful and varied. Loved the history and Wayne was very knowledgeable. Wayne’s stories were fabulous. Would have preferred individual servings rather than family style, especially during COVID times but highly recommend this tour.
