We learned a great amount of history on this tour. Our guide, Richard, was so engaging and interesting. He kept everyone involved and wanting more. Even my 13 year old son wanted to do it again the next night!!

Excellent tour! My best friend and I were on a weekend trip to Newport and decided to book a tour at the last minute. We’ve gone on many ghost tours all over the country and this tour was one of the best! Richard was our guide and he was funny, knowledgeable, kind and made the experience a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

Although our guide Jeff was somewhat knowledgeable, he was not at all considerate or attentive to the group he was leading. We called ahead and were told that the tour was fully handicapped accessible because my daughter would be pushing me in a wheelchair. The first thing this guide did was lead the group down two flights of stairs without any notion that someone in a wheelchair could not handle that —if it weren’t for the kindness of a good Samaritan on our tour who carried my wheelchair down the stairs for my daughter, we would still be waiting there! Furthermore, there was another woman in the group who was having a lot of difficulty keeping up with Jeff‘s pace and almost had to drop off the tour at one point. Despite the fact that he claimed to have many years of experience leading tours, he certainly was clueless. I regret that I tipped him, but I felt that he did provide information from what seems to be a prepared script about the ghosts of Newport. If you are older, slower, or in any way disabled do not go on this tour with Jeff.
