My daughter and I went on the Newport Olde Town Ghost Walk last night and it was very enjoyable. Our guide Sarah did an excellent job of taking our group through the tour, stopping at various places and telling local ghost stories and lore. She was quite animated and informative. I was previously familiar with some of the stories but learned new things. We specially enjoyed stopping in the old Trinity Church cemetery and walking Newport's "most haunted street". Despite the chilly, rainy weather of this early April night, Sarah did not let the weather bother her and was very professional throughout her 90 minute presentation.

We’ve done a lot of ghost tours - they’re a great way to get the non-stuffy history of a city. But, it is determined by the guide and their storytelling abilities. This was one of the good ones ! Our guide was Richard, and he was phenomenal - charismatic and funny ! We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through historic Newport.
