Unfortunately there were no truly memorable experiences as a driving tour. Stopping points were not clearly pointed out especially since the guide is relying on GPS to track our progress. There was not always a specific road to turn off on or an indicator saying that the viewpoint was in a specific distance. The time was filled with folk stories in lieu of more pertinent information about the Park and some of it’s history and geology.

Barbara, it's unfortunate that the tour didn't meet your expectations. The tour is designed to work best when starting from the designated starting point, ensuring the GPS accurately tracks your progress and points out the stops. The stories included are meant to blend history, geology, and local folklore to give a well-rounded experience. However, the balance might not have been what you were looking for. I hope you'll give it another try, as the tour is valid for a year, and I’m always working on updates to enhance the experience.

I had huge hopes for using this audio tour since we could tour at our own pace. I found it just ok. It could have had a lot more information included. Instead it gave same script on two of the 3 tours we took on several occasions. We aren’t taking the 3rd tour but I suspect the same there. It really needs to be beefed up with more information and background information. It cannot compete with live tour guides as they can fill in a lot of local info and frequently asked questions.
