Onewheel Electric Hoverboard Lesson and Bay Ride

Overview

Try the world's first off-road electric hoverboard and ride like a pro! With a top speed of 19mph and the ability to ride on grass, trails, sand, and of course pavement you'll be having a blast in no time. Riding the Onewheel is easy to learn, even for people with no previous board sport experience with proper instruction (lesson included). I will be providing instruction, helmets, safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards). Electric scooters are available for those who prefer not to try the Onewheel. Enjoy a beautiful ride along the San Diego Waterfront from Liberty Station Park to Embarcadero. Pictures and videos of your adventure included!

I rented 3 Onewheels for half a day while visit relatives in San Diego. Jessie Currie of San Diego Onewheel Rentals met us a Mission Bay, gave us each a lesson and sent us on our way - along with safety gear and chargers. We had a great time. Riding a onewheel is now my favorite mode of transportation thanks to the amazing experience I got from San Diego Onewheel rentals. The instructor was very knowledgeable about the boards and gave you a great lesson and break down on the do’s and dont’s. Afterwards he offered suggestions on great places to ride. Riding a onewheel is such a unique experience. The more you ride it the more it becomes a part of you and the easier everything gets. By the time the rental period is over you don’t want to get off it because walking feels so weird. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I just got back from a weekend in one of our favorite cities, San Diego. While there, we rented a OneWheel, something we never tried before. Heck, we never even rode a skateboard before. At 51 years old, I was hesitant but the website showed how fun it is and promised a lesson. My husband and I took the chance and are so glad we did. We had 2 delivered right to us, which was great because we didn't have a car. Jesse gave us our lesson and he was patient and informative. After a few hilarious stops and starts, we got the hang of it. Just like a bike, you quickly get the feel for how it moves. Jesse gave us tips on where to ride and we had a blast riding it around La Jolla for the whole day (we did the 8 hour rental). Oh yeah, safety is a priority and Jesse brought helmets, which were free, just like the lesson. I definitely recommend a OneWheel from these guys. They cared about our enjoyment and our safety.
