First class vessel with expert National Park Ranger staff. Our Orca Quest cruise did not disappoint and we saw Humpback whales breaching, porpoises, seals, & otters frolicking, sea lions basking on the cliffs beneath mountain goats, puffins, eagles, and more. Your best views are usually from the top deck so wear warm layered clothing.

My wife and I paid another visit to Major Marine in Seward aboard their brand new vessel Kenai 360. Specifically we were on their Orca Quest Cruise and might I say we were not disappointed. Within a mile of leaving the dock the captain spotted a couple of Humpback Whales and shortly after that she spotted a large Fin Whale. It was a beautiful day for a cruise and things were off to a great start but we came for the Orcas and Orcas we would see. The crew was familiar with the habits of the Orca and knew that we might find them feeding on Salmon in Agnes Cove. Once we arrived and did some looking sure enough we found a pod of 6 Orcas. They were fairly well spread out but on numerous occasions came very close to the boat as they chased Salmon around the cove. It was a wonderful experience with an experienced and hard working crew that worked very hard to deliver an exciting cruise. Money well spent in my opinion, I will return again.

Great people, fantastic boat and Captain. They are very knowledgeable about the Marine life and surrounding area. Saw 3 types of whales, orcas, fin, and humpback. I would go back in a second.
