The tour was interesting and the beer guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
This is a tour of small restaurant type breweries. I feel that was not described when booking the tour.
Not clear instructions on where to meet the beer guide. Staff in the liquor store were not very friendly or helpful.
This tour was money NOT well spent. We paid 85 dollars for 3 tours and all of which were completely free to the public. Sam Adams was the best one because it was informative and they also give you a 7oz mug to test their beers. This is free to the public so you can drive on y our own time. The second was a small brewery run by a couple. It was nice to see but again, completely free if you wanted to go there on your own time. The third and LAST place he took us to wasn't even built yet, it was extremely hot and not informative at all. The owner wasn't there it was just us trying tiny bits of beer that was less than tasteful. We did go to Meadhall to eat but again... This wasn't worth 85 nor was it worth the semi cranky driver who admitted he was going to pick and choose where HE wanted to go. Typically people go to four, we went to three but can you even count the hot, UNDONE, place he took us to that will be a brewery one day If you are paying 85 you should get way more than that. This was unacceptable to say the least and I will NOT recommend this tour to anyone. Save your money and go yourself. Highly unacceptable to pay that amount of money for this type of thing.
Our tour guide Andy helped make the trip! He provided good knowledge of the beer making process and made it entertaining! We enjoyed the 4 different breweries and found many beers that we liked. It was a good evening all around and would do it again! Thanks
