Boulder Tour Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these minimum requirements. Furthermore, Boulder Tour Company reserves the right, at their discretion, to ask customers to step on a scale to confirm their weight before allowing them the use of a Boulder Tour Company ebike. A ride evaluation with each rider will be performed by the tour guide prior to the start of the tour to determine each rider's participation eligibility.
Riders cannot exceed 265 pounds and must be at least 5'2" tall in order to sit safely on the bike's saddle and touch the ground with their feet

First time on an E-bike and they were fun to ride. I went up a steep hill with full assist (5), and got up to 8.6mph. Not a lot of work at all. You need to pedal, but you don’t have to pedal hard. Rode around on nice Bike paths. I was in a small group, but when riding you weren’t given any information on your surroundings. A neat thing would be to have earphones and hear about what we were riding by. It was a really good bike ride, more biking than touring.

However, your point is well taken and we'll be sure to revisit how we manage certain parts of the tour for future rides. The earphones, while certainly a good idea, present a safety and liability issue, so we're afraid that suggestion will have to remain in our wish column. In any event, we are glad you enjoyed the bikes and the ride.

This was our first visit to Boulder. The electric bike tour was a great introduction to the city! Phillip, our guide, was knowledgeable, the equipment was top notch, and the selection of stops was perfect. I would highly recommend this tour!

Nice ride through Boulder, stopping at all the main sites. Bikes were easy to learn, guys were nice and informative. A little fast paced for 8 of 10 not having ridden before. Overall, was very enjoyabke and would definarely recommend.
