What To Expect

Salt Lake City

Our Expert Beer Guide will pick you up and take you on a 5 hour Beer Journey filled with fun, education, humor, a great meal, and of course plenty of delicious beer. You will visit 4 or our great brewery affiliates and enjoy up to 16 beer samples. At one location you will enjoy a delicious beer paired meal. Itineraries vary by tour but possible breweries may include Uinta, Salt Fire, Level Crossing, Hopkins, Bewildered, Proper, or Grid City.

My girlfriend and I did this brewery tour of Salt Lake City in July '22. We were joined by a fun group of seven other gentlemen and had a very enjoyable and memorable time. This is one of those tours that you start perhaps a little quiet with the people around you but end the tour with new friends from around the world. Be prepared for many a tasting as you visit three breweries. However you won't get too lit because by Utah law beers on tap can't be above 5%. Your tour also includes a meal which also helps soak up the brew. Fun times in Salt Lake, now all you guys gotta do is pass a law to get your tap beers up to 8%. Firmly recommend.

So my daughter bought this tour for the two of us for fathers day. I have lived in Utah my whole life and I never knew there were so many great craft brewers here. Emma was our tour guide and she was great. Very attentive to our needs and also took the time to learn about what types of beer we liked so she could offer tasty samples. I took a tour with Liam and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only did I find out that Salt Lake City has one of the best beer scenes around, I got taken behind the scenes into the brewhouses at all the locations that we visited. All the driving was taken care of, I learned everything and more about beer, and we even got a beer and food pairing. I tried my first gluten reduced beer (pretty much gluten free) and it tasted just like regular beer. Also, Liam chose all the beer, which allowed me to try styles I normally wouldn't have chosen. I didn't think I would enjoy that, but it was awesome! The hotel they pick up at is baller, indoor skate park, best rooftop view of the city, and the coffee bar inside is perfect for a before or after. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of beer Salt Lake City brewers are collectively producing.
