I went through the guides and booked with a guide with a boat big enough to handle 4 fishermen for bass fishing. iOutdoors changed the captain, and I specifically asked if the new guide could handle 4 fishermen and got an email back saying yes. Less than 18 hours before we started fishing, the guide calls and said his boat could not handle 4 adults. He said it might work if we fished with bait. That was not the original plan for bass fishing. He charged another $150 for the bait. Then acted like the bait was gold and wanted us to keep shiners alive even when we putted from location to location in a slow dirty pontoon. The fishing g was marginal but that happens in fishing it was the booking service that screwed things up.

We love our customers and reviews, but there are times when things get confusing and we need to clear up the facts. After much research, let's do that...line by line for all our readers. We do accommodate 4 people every day of the week on most all boats we have. Three reasons, by applying 4 to a boat it saves customers money from hiring two boats. Secondly, it allows a family of 4 to go on one boat. Thirdly, anyone that knows a little about bass fishing understands bass boats are made for two, and that when they elect to choose one boat it's going to be tight 4 and now 5 with the captain…but understand this is always your choice. The reason our captain changed the boat last minute was you forgot to mention 3 out of the 4 people were big as football players, and there is a point where the boats do have a weight capacity per US coast guard. We still only offered the last minute change as an option to better accommodate your group. You accepted the option of the pontoon, which normally cost more, but there was no upcharge to help accommodate your group. The $150 Bait...On every bookable webpage we have, also on the itinerary you received during and after deposit, it says, fishing license and live bait is not included? Also Capt Bill specifically talked with you the day before your trip about live bait and the price. Which you verbally agreed to $25 dozen and 6 dozen in advance. And you specifically said, not to mention to the other guys that you would pay cash for it on the side as you didn’t want them to know. Let me add you also asked Capt Bill to bring baitcasting rods and reels for everyone with lures. He did, and only one of you threw them or could throw them. Your quote that the boat was slow and dirty! The boat has a 115hp 4 stroke motor, a nice motor for a pontoon. The boat was loaded, counting the guide. This boat is newer and well maintained, our pontoons have a full time maintenance and cleaning person which Captain Bill witnessed showing up before you arrived to clean the boat and it was in great shape for your trip. Your quote fishing was marginal....You also forgot to mention that you showed up over an hour late, 8:15am instead 7am which Capt Bill verified with you and was on all the itineraries. Capt Bill also mentioned the morning bite was important, as the fish were schooling. So technically you missed the best fishing by being late. Despite your tardiness, 2 out of the 4 of you caught your person's biggest largemouth bass, at least what you said on the boat. Not sure how all this is marginal? Lastly, the iOutdoors Team did not screw things up. They saved the trip you booked from being a disaster. We were going to challenge your review because it is so dishonest but we believe it's good for readers to see how dedicated we are to them and our quality of service.
