Journey to Blue Spring State Park, winter home to one of Florida’s largest populations of Manatee. Witness hundreds of these "sea cows" relaxing in the spring alone. Observe these creatures from a safe distance in your kayak as your Florida Master Naturalist introduces you to the flora and fauna that make up this wild area. Gina was an awesome guide and we would definitely recommend her and Manatee Encounters. Her obvious love of nature and knowledge of the area made the tour amazing. She found three groups of manatees and several alligators. Her knowledge of the area made this a learning experience and definitely has us wanting a return trip in the peak manatee season. To top it off, Gina gave us a great recommendation for lunch - The Swamp House. We never would have found this place if not for Gina.

We had a great time kayaking in the spring, saw a lot of fish and a couple of manatees. The spring water is so clear and we saw a lot of fish swimming. The tour guide Brock is very nice , patient, and knowledgeable.
