All I can say is WOW!! If you’re considering doing this, let me tell you - you’re missing out if you don’t. Blue Springs was closed the day we went for tree removal and it still was the most memorable part of our trip. Our guide, Greg, was very patient and offered paddling instruction for all. My youngest is 11, and struggled for awhile, but got the hang of it and enjoyed it. The area is gorgeous!! So many alligators, turtles, aquatic birds, and at the very end we saw 2 manatees dipping back under the water. We appreciated the vast knowledge of local flora and fauna. We loved it and will definitely plan to come back in the winter time for more manatees!! Thank you for a great experience.

Jimi was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife around blue springs state park. We went on July 4th weekend, so we could not go pass the area where a lot of people went swimming, but we still saw the natural groves. We saw some birds, fishes, and even some alligators lurking beneath the water. When we got away from all the people, it was very tranquil and refreshing. Luckily we stopped before the rain hit. Great experience!

Astrid, our guide, was amazing. The whole family had a wonderful time exploring the springs, swimming with the manatees, and seeing some awesome wildlife during our trip. Would definitely recommend!! Not only was it a memorable experience for my boys, it was also educational. We learned a lot about the animals in their natural habitats, and got to explore several hard to find spots on the trip. Can’t wait to come back next year and book another kayak trip!
