There is no minimum age however all participants must know how to swim
It is recommended that you bring a swimsuit, towel, waterproof camera and wear clothes that can get wet and possibly dirty
To ensure a proper size kayak is available, please provide your individual heights and weights at the time of booking
There is no restroom at the meeting location. There is a public restroom at Valentine Park (1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763) about a mile before you arrive the meeting location that we recommend you use before your tour.

We flew in to do the theme parks, but had to add this on after seeing the great reviews. We spent three hours kayaking and walking the state park learning about the different kinds of wild life of the area. Of course we saw the lovely manatees (and their babies!) but we also saw some gators, vultures, and a bald eagle! Would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a wild life experience and definitely would return to do another tour with this company!

Even if you are an experienced paddler, as some of us were in the group, you will find the experience very enriching. Our group of four participated in the Kayak Manatee Encounter. Astrid, our guide, was a very knowledgeable naturalist pointing out many unique and amazing things in the Blue Springs Refuge that we could have easily overlooked if we had kayaked the Refuge by ourselves. She was very knowledgeable in manatees, alligators, and birds inhabiting the area. Overall, the kayak experience was a very peaceful enlightening trip through a beautiful wilderness area. A great experience and a great escape from Orlando and the touristy craziness. :-) Thank you for the memorable trip, Astrid. Anil, Charity, Hallie and Steph.

I can't say enough good things about Adventures in Florida. They're professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. We got stuck in traffic and missed the 9:00am tour we were scheduled for. Bill, our guide made sure we didn't miss out. He stayed and took our family out upon his return from the 9:00am tour. He was absolutely wonderful. Due to unusually warm weather we didnt see Manatee but we were fortunate to see many alligators and birds. I would highly recommend this trip .
