It was simply amazing. Our guide Jimmy was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and habitat. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. We had an issue with kayak comfort level and Jimmy went out of his way to make sure everyone felt safe and secure. Our group included teens all the way to a 76yo. Everyone had a great time. Saw lots of manatees, alligator, turtles, birds, and fish. Afterwards Jimmy suggested the Swamp Cafe for lunch and it also did not disappoint. Would do this every time we come to Florida during cooler months. There are no bathrooms where they put the kayaks in. Be sure to stop at the clean bathrooms at Valentine park on the way in. It can be cool on the water so bring layers.

We went with a group of 5 people, ages 25-35, and we all had a blast seeing the manatees up close. Our guide Bill taught us all about their natural habitat and how to spot manatees and other wildlife along the river. The views were gorgeous and we really felt a part of nature for the day. They even gave us suggestions of fun things to do in the area afterwards. Highly recommend, it was a great way to end our trip to Orlando

With Adventures in Florida my husband and I were able to encounter manatees up close without the crowds. We were a group of seven not including our guide. Our guide did a great job of avoiding the other groups while exploring the area and educating the group on the wildlife. Our guide was also very flexible and accommodating of each individual on this adventure, allowing some people to stay back with the manatees near the hot spring, while others could venture further out and explore other wildlife including baby alligators, birds, and turtles. Everyone was up for more adventure so we all stayed as a group but it was really great to have options! I would definitely recommend this trip, especially for families looking to experience something other than Disney!
