Orlando Manatee Encounters

Overview
Journey to Blue Spring State Park, winter home to one of Florida’s largest populations of Manatee. Witness hundreds of these "sea cows" relaxing in the spring alone. Observe these creatures from a safe distance in your kayak as your Florida Master Naturalist introduces you to the flora and fauna that make up this wild area. We got to see so much wildlife, manatees, turtles, gar, alligator, and tons of egrets, a bald eagle, and other birds. Sue and her husband had so much facts to tell us about everything included plant life. Would recommend if you want to get away from the amusement parks for awhile!

Our guide Guy was the best! Very interesting and informative tour with plenty of sites to see! We saw at least 15-20 Gators and 2 Manatees! Wonderful 3 hour tour well worth the money! Blue Springs is beautiful and the whole experience was something we will never forget!

We had a great time kayaking today! Guy, our guide, was knowledgeable and passionate about all the wildlife. We saw at least 6 alligators, herons, egrets, cormorants, limpkins, even a bald eagle. We did of course also see some manatees! The Blue Springs area was lovely, weather was beautiful. The kayaks were comfortable, I learned so much and the 3 hour tour was a perfect amount of time. Beginner kayakers would do fine! Well worth the money!
