Journey to Blue Spring State Park, winter home to one of Florida’s largest populations of Manatee. Witness hundreds of these "sea cows" relaxing in the spring alone. Observe these creatures from a safe distance in your kayak as your Florida Master Naturalist introduces you to the flora and fauna that make up this wild area. This is a great trip for the entire family!

Even though we didn’t get to spot any manatees, we saw plenty of other wildlife and Jeff made it interesting and fun.
Would definitely try again during a time of year that there are more manatees!

We had a great tour with our extremely knowledgeable guide, Jimi. Manatees are scarce this time of year, so not surprisingly we didn’t see any. We did see two gators in their natural habitat. The paddle was easy and we were fascinated to see Florida’s natural environment up close. I would suggest you bring along a dry sack or strong zip lock bag to safely carry a camera.

We had a great time with Jeff, paddling under bright blue skies. Although the manatees alluded us, other wildlife was all around us, above us and below us. Best feeling of all is the peace on the water. Highly recommend!
