What a great way to experience another more natural side of Florida. We had a great time with our guide Bill. He was very knowledgeable of the wildlife and spots to see alligators, turtles, different types of birds, manatees. Snake creek was a nice little tour off the main river. Check this adventure out on your trip. It was worth the 3 hours and then recommendations for local place to eat after. We were glad to go to the 900 am as it was pretty warm a noon. The cool river was nice.

We enjoyed kayaking down the river full of manatees, gators, and fish, as well as various birds and ample southern greens in the beginning of March. Our tour guide, Astrid, is fantastic, very knowledgeable, and joyful to talk to! She put everyone at ease with respect to the gators and guided us gently through the wild beauty of the deep South. She also took plenty of wonderful pictures and shared them all with us. Highly recommend this splendid experience to anyone!

Astrid was fun, kind, flexible, helpful and informative! She had interesting information about the birds, alligators, turtles, vegetation etc. Kayaking was smooth easy paddling. Lunch was cheese, grapes, lunchmeat, crackers, and cookies. Water provided in kayaks. My recommendation for any guide leader would be to post the distance in miles on the site. Additionally, pre trip take a poll from the travelers as to how long they prepared to be on the river so the guide can best plan paddling speed. And let travelers know what time bathroom spots will be during their journey.
